Trivia Rules

  1. No cheating. This is a charity fundraiser. We’re here for the fun. Please keep your phone ringers turned off and keep your phone tucked away. It’s no fun if your neighbors think you are cheating.

  2. There are 8 rounds with 10 questions per round.

  3. A mulligan gives you one free correct answer per category if it is needed.

  4. Each table should appoint a captain to record answers on the provided answer sheets and write your table number at the top of each answer sheet. This person should have clear and legible handwriting. Illegible answers will be considered incorrect without exception.

  5. Estimate how many questions you think your team will have correct at the end of round 8 and write this number in the lower right hand corner of your Round 1 answer sheet. If there is a tie, the team with the closest estimate wins the contest and the $250 first place prize. Second place wins $125.

  6. You will have 60 seconds after the final question of each round to hold up your answer sheet for a runner to pick up.

Silent Auction Procedures

  1. Bidding will end before Round 7 begins.

  2. Each bid is to be written on the bid sheet. Please PRINT your name, table number and bid amount.

  3. Each bid sheet will list a bid increment. A new bid must increase the previous bid by at least this minimum increment. If you do not use the correct bid increments and you have the winning bid, the item will be awarded to the last person to bid correctly.

  4. All items must be paid for and picked up before you leave this evening.

  5. Checkout Instructions:

    1. When the bid sheets have been turned in, cashiers will organize them and runners will deliver the bid sheets to winners.

    2. Once checkout begins and you have all your bid sheets, go up to the front of the room to pay for your items at the cashiers’ desk. You’ll find a line for cash or check and a line for credit cards. OR save time in line by paying at https://checkout.square.site/merchant/9HNZN4G0JAXVR/checkout/J5I2TIODUVJT7FIZHWKSFYT6?src=sheet and raising your hand/phone for a volunteer to come to you.

    3. Once you have your receipt a runner will fetch your items and deliver them to you.
